Specialized Agricultural License Plate Bill

FAQ-

What is it?   A specialized agricultural license plate.

 

What does it cost?  $30 first year (to obtain the plate), $20 each year to follow.

 

Who benefits from the funds raised? FFA and 4-H members through the Minnesota FFA Foundation and Minnesota 4-H, a program of the Center for Youth Development, University of Minnesota Extension.  

 

What will the funds be used for?  Agricultural programs delivered by FFA and 4-H.

 

What will the plate look like?  FFA & 4-H members will be encouraged to submit designs that celebrate & capture the beauty of agriculture.   A contest will be held to identify the official design.

 

What can I do to support this effort?  Contact your legislator and ask them to support the bill,  House File 221 and Senate File 250.
